These rechargeable batteries (as an alternative to the regular Ni-Cad type) are designed for the more demanding solar light or when the best performance is required out of a solar light that has a good quality solar panel and accepts AA size batteries. We recommend that solar light batteries are replaced every 1-2 years or as found necessary. A defective battery is often the cause of a solar light malfunctioning or inefficient performance. These batteries have are rated at 1.2 volts. If you cannot find the exact capacity (shown in mA) tehn you can usually accept the closest to your needs. These batteries have a reasonable storage life therefore you may wish to consider buying spare batteries with your solar light purchase. The product description or technical specifications will advise the battery type and quantity for each of our products. If in any doubt as to which type you need, please check the original batteries found within your solar light and mtach the specifications as close as possible. Each battery is sold and priced as a single unit.
